CGTN is the English-language news channel of the state-run China Global Television Network, based in Beijing, China. It is one of several channels provided by China Global Television Network, the international division of Chinese state broadcaster China Central Television (CCTV). CCTV-9 was launched on 25 September 2000, and rebranded as CCTV News on 26 April 2010.
